EC2A
Web design & development in Shoreditch
Old Street is a straight run in from me. If you've got something that needs building properly, or a team that's a developer short, that's the work I take on here.
Two kinds of job come up most. Founders who need an MVP that actually ships and won't need throwing away at the first sign of real users. And agencies who've sold something and need an engineer to deliver it, properly, without drama.
I take both. For founders that means honest scope - working out the smallest thing that proves the idea, building that, and resisting the six features that feel essential and aren't. For agencies it means a contractor who turns up to the stand-up, writes code your team can read, and doesn't need managing.
The stack is Next.js and TypeScript end to end, with AI integrations where they earn their place rather than because the deck said so.

Questions
That's one of the main things I do. The useful version of an MVP is the smallest build that tests the actual risky assumption - I'll push hard on cutting scope, because a shipped small thing beats an unshipped big one every time.
Yes - migrating no-code and AI-generated prototypes onto a real codebase is a service in its own right. I'll assess what's there, keep what's worth keeping, and rebuild the parts that won't survive real traffic.
Yes. I work as an embedded engineer on agency projects, including joining your stand-ups and working in your repo. Same rates, same directness.
Sceptically, then properly. Plenty of AI features are a worse version of a form. When one genuinely helps I build it with the current Claude models, real evaluation, and a cost model you can look at before you commit.
Yes. iOS and Android apps, usually one cross-platform codebase for both stores, or native where the app leans hard on the device. Mahi, a fitness accountability app, is one I built for both stores. For a first version I'll often suggest a web app first if it proves the idea faster.
