The gap I most often get called in to close isn't design, it's what happens after it. Immaculate files go out, and what comes back is roughly the right shape with the type wrong, the spacing off and the animation missing.
I close that gap. If it's in the design, it's in the build - including the details nobody itemises, like how it behaves at 380px and what happens on a slow connection.
Just up the road in Hatton Garden I built Vianni Jewellers, where the whole site had to work the way high-value jewellery actually sells - through conversation, not a checkout basket. That kind of problem, where the obvious e-commerce answer is the wrong answer, is exactly the kind I like.

I built Vianni Jewellers, which deals in authenticated luxury watches and made-to-order diamond jewellery from Hatton Garden. High-value pieces sell through enquiry rather than checkout, so the site was engineered around that - including Product structured data built deliberately without prices.
Yes. A technical code review gives you a plain-English verdict on what you've been handed - what's solid, what's a liability, and what it'll cost to put right. Useful before you pay a final invoice.
Both. If you're a studio with Figma files, I build to them. If you're a business without a designer, I do the design as well, and keep it simple enough that it still looks right in five years rather than dating the moment the trend moves on.
